ARTISTE:

Names are Benjamin Webi, the eldest in a family of three siblings. I hold academic qualifications in Sales and Marketing.

I worship at Mavunodowntown Chapel, Paying with the Ityunz band and the worship team.

HOBBIES:

Travelling, swimming, watching movies, listening to and discovering new music.

OCCUPATION:

Recording and performing artiste/Guitarist/Singer - songwriter.

ANCESTRY:

I took music as a subject in Nairobi school, for the first two years of high school from 1999 through 2001 where I learned theory of music and playing the descant recorder. I also participated in music festivals and symposiums.

I moved to Mombasa in late 2001 to join another High school, Aga Khan Kenya secondary but since I music wasn’t able to continue with music as a subject as it wasn’t an offered subject, I had to pick up accounts.

While in Mombasa, I joined the Winner’s chapel Choir as an instrumentalist playing the lead and bass guitars.

I have been playing the acoustic/ classical guitar since 1996, the bass since 2001.

I moved back to Nairobi in February 2003 where I joined joy music & Creative arts as a student to pick up where I had left off my music theory until I sat my grade 4 theory exams.
